Early research picks are very important, especially to a non-creative race. After the 3500 RP stuff it can be anyway you want, but before the 2000 RP items, it is critical. That is not to say you can't win with just doing the next up method, but you will have more work. I would be happier to have gotten a labor leader or EMO.
Given we are repulsive, you could expect to not get any megawealths for awhile.
Anyway to me the idea I have for the game is to get feedback to see how others do things and to see if I can get any ideas.
The strong point of Moo2 is that you have so many races and maps and you cannot play with the same plan for all of them. Well you ca, but it will be less effective. I mean even this race would cause a change in play if we had come up with the pop 15 rich world or a huge aqua planet, let alone two such planets in our system.
Anyway I look forward to hearing what the others have to say.
