Good,
Now we clearly have to paths to go:
The 'northern' pacifist (for now) path, heading to Economics and Democracy and with the Americans as vassal state.
The 'southern' one heading to Military Tradition, the Ansars and the (near) extinction of the Americans.
Personally, I believe that +50 gold/turn (via SmithTC) will speed up reserach and therefore an earlier launch. Some added-up American cities will not (especialy with a Palace west).
Let's see who will be chosen....

Nope, there is a town south of Mansura which blocks the isthmus.

I was noting that 4 player on the team posted a game, but no vote was taken to continue, if anyone wanted to do it.

I will go on anyway. If another team (or just players) vote for this round, I will accept their verdict. If nobody votes, I will pick up my save and go on, and post my DARs here (it will take a bit of time, since I'm playing Sir Ralph's one).

Looks like you are on your own now MS. I picked up my save and finished off the US and got 3 leaders. I rushed Coper/Newton/Adams with them. I had started taking cities from Carth and the game bellied up. Same old crap, it just rebooted on its own, so that was enough for me.
I picked up two games today, so I have to check them out.

Good block, MS. If you are going to continue, I'd stick with with the northern path too. In addition to Smith's, you can prolly beat the pants outta the AI civs in tech.

Theseus and vmxa1,
I'm going to finish this game, but since there are no tight schedules any more, I will finish Sir Ralph's game first, then this one.

As promised, I finished this game, partially for fun and partially out of respect for all the efforts made for having AUSG101 running.
It was not a great challange, especially because of the level (Monarch) and the excellent work done by the chosen previous saves, but still...
280AD: with the available GL we built Leo. Since the FP is in Basra, it's time to think about the new Palace, and to make some warmongers happy, why not in Washington?

540AD: and will pay for it.
P.S. the idea was for Mordor to gobble up India and Babylon and present a better challenge.
