Round 170-
580 AD to Mongols
* Since I haven't posted any lengthy text in awhile I thought I should write a little something. Let me begin by saying congrats to all of you for remaining dedicated to ASNG. I have played a couple other PBEMs in the last year and a half and while none of them have taken nearly as long as ASNG, they have never had players with the dedication that you have all shown. Thank you for continuing to play this. I would be happy to play with you gentlemen anytime in the future.
*Its amusing that we are still playing PTW. I have been playing C3C so often now that I continue to forgot how much simpler PTW was. Do any of you have any thoughts on what its like playing PTW still? Do any of you prefer it?
* For the next 48 hours I will be very available to play so if any of you wish to attempt any type of marathon I will be able to send the turns as quickly as I recieve them.
*Happy Civ'ing!

Me too, even tho i have done some warmongering, but hey, it would be boring without little skirmishes now and then, wouldnt it

Atleast i prefer to continue PtW started PBEM games with PtW, and not upgrading them to Conquests
Tried that in one game and whoa - my FP became almost useless because of its placement & one guy suddenly was capable of building the Anicent Cavalry wonder because of Ivory
But yeah, if i start new games SP or MP, i prefer C3C, with 1.15 patch ofcourse. Still some bugs, but much better than unpatched one.

Yeah guys, we're getting really lazy about tracking and sending the file. Come on, you don't want ASNG to die after all these months of playing do you?

Okay guys, this is really dragging now.
Am I going to have to ask that you send me every turn so I can enforce the 36 hour rule? Things are just getting really good in ASNG, why all the trouble posting and sending?

Ayronis, I understand your concern. However, as I explained in my post that there is a lot of stuff going on right now. Most of the time I am playing from different PC's in between things, and recently I have forgotten to post some turn notifications. Unfortunately, sometimes work and life does not hold for a PC game and I space it.
I agree that this is not fair for all the rest of you playing this game. I will make an effort to get more disciplined about posting my turn notification. If I'm still unable to keep up with the game, I will request someone to take my spot.
I resent the turn to Carthage.

I'm curious as to events on the mainland. The political landscape seems to be shifting dramatically.....
