What is the Civ2 port number, and is it TCP or UDP?

Ages since I've played, now a friend and I want to have a one-on-one game -- and the Zone no longer supports Civ2!!!

Can anyone give me the port number I'd need to specify to play Civ2 with an ADSL router? Also, is it TCP or UDP?

(Me, I know nuttin' 'bout these things, but my tame computer guru tells me I have to find out before he can help us...)

what would be easier is to get your friends IP address and add it as a trusted IP.

I don't know for certain but I would guess port 80 is what you need opened.

I did actually get a reply on the mp forum that gave a TCP port number. Will be trying it shortly...
