ELECTION: Coup d'etat
Hi all,
as our elected government has been so badly corrupted by RL, I think it is time to make a revolution.
I hereby propose to replace the government and install just an interim president, which would combine all parts of the government.
As I am still interrested in the DG and want to keep it alive, and as I have been asked to step in for our so called government , I am proposing the following for/with this coupe:
1.) Replace the complete government with me as the sole power.
2.) I'll keep the game running at a moderate speed.
3.) I'll have the power to nominate Members of the senate, who are willing to share their ideas with me.
4.) I'll share my knowledge with you the peasants.
5.) I'll take your votes on polls into serious account.
6.) Votes/poll will be now decided by pure majority.
And last but not least:
I promise and I'll stand to it: I'll be working for the best of our Nation and promise to step back whenever needed.
If you think the same way as me, please vote YES, so that we can continue OUR game.:doitnow:
If you don't like the idea, vote no
If you don't care, vote abstain (and get out of here )
In the hope of a better future
Gilgamensch, 15/Oct./2003
This poll will expire latest on Sunday the 26th of October 2003

RESOLUTION instead of ELECTION and the whole vote would be constitutional. And one more vote. But who cares...
Viva la revolution!

Martin,
I wasn't sure if I should have used ELECTION, which could be explained with me being elected Emporer
AMENDMENT: By 'replacing' the conny
or as you mentioned RESOLUTION..............
But as you said:
Viva la revolution
I think I can already consider it passed (8 votes & )
You'll shall see new threads coming up over the next few days, like when I shall be available in my Thronehall (sp?) (or shall I say, when you can visit me ), who wants to participate in chat's and stuff like this...........

Hasta la revolucion siempre!
Sounds like we are on for a Red October...
All hail the Dictator!
I, Cracius Tamerlinus Scipio support the claims of Gilgamensch but we member of the Senate will be watchful as our engraciated leader must not become a Tyrant.

Although I'm not a citizen, I'm more than happy to lend my services (for a price) to the Emperor in making Cot talk to see if he's a traitor.

We should send him on the Austrian front my lord, this will give him the opportunity to show you his devotion (and will cut him from any possible support in our beloved capital)...

......tsk tsk and to think of the services my ancestors gave to our people - have you no honour between you?
It was like er.....a while ago when my fore-fathers led our first attacks on the vile austrian empire!
[real life]
And besides i don't have the time to be the tyrant we need to keep our beloved Lemuria going.[/real life]
if it helps I pledge my alligence to the Emperor Gilgamensch and the Lemurian kingdon, I so swear on my fathers sword.
its getting hot around here, i'll have to watch my back.....
