Very sad to hear about this unexpected and dearly bad news.
I remember him when he joinned his first CtP PBEM game. He was a good and faithfull ally to the end and I had good time playing with him.
He was a very social, stuborn and eccentric person but he had a great heart as well.
My condolences to his family and the people that lived with him and loved him. You will be missed friend
It would be great if someone who knew him well would post a column in his memory perhaps with his best moments and quotes in Apolyton.
And if it is decided that a post card is sent to his family, please include my name: Costas a.k.a. Keygen.

My deepest and sincerest condolences.
It is always very, very saddening for someone to be tragically lost in the prime of their life.

We must send something. With all this talk of Kenosha and Racine, I must live close. I work for the neighboring county. I will check the papers as well.

I hardly knew him, and it did not happen often that I read his posts, but nevertheless after searching for his posts I found more posts I thought to find that I read. I even bumped one of his threads after it was a year or so dead.
So reast in peace, faded.

**sigh** I just saw Tuber's thread in the Community Forum and followed the link. FWIW, my condolences to FG's family.

It's possible the funeral home handling the arrangements has a Web site where one can leave messages. It's becoming an increasingly popular extension of the services offered by funeral homes. So if someone knows the name of the funeral home, that might be a possibility.

Just a few months ago, a drunk driver slammed into a vehicle carrying a family from my area. The mother, her brother and four children were killed. The drunk driver walked away pretty much unscathed.

Ming got the email, so he can write Faded's brother back and ask for the funeral information.

Unfortunately, I got the info via a PM, and NOT an email. His brother just used FG's account to send me a PM.

Thanks for informing us, Ming. I am sorry to see him go. May the people he touched in this life bring this tragedy to some good. He was full of life not afraid of opposition. He fought to the end and did not shy away from the battle ideas. May he now rest in peace...

We all knew you as a little abrasive, yet I'm sure we all just as well know that it was but a mask - one of many which are simply of the human condition to use. I didn't come to know you as much as I saw approaching; but I did see that what was coming was good.
The tears will come eventually, I just don't have any left to give right now. You will be missed, buddy.
God embrace you

Tragedy. If I suddenly died, you would never find out, because no one knows I am a member of a forum like this. Well, my wife of course, but she's basically a computer iliterate. And the IT department on my job perhaps, but they would never think of informing you.

Faded Glory is dead?
It seems like just yesterday I was trading posts with him about which beer tasted best or laughing at and trying to read his last funny thread before MtG locked it.
Let's make Faded Glory an Apolyton Legend and lets all send his family our sympathies.

Maybe we could roast him, the way they do to comic legends - I bet he'd have liked that. That's probably not PC though. Bad suggestion. Sorry.
