There is a new adventure game -
The Black Mirror - shipped yesterday, produced by a Czech company, Future Games.
I played the demo and quite liked it, though I was wondering if anyone has played the full version of the game, and if so what you thought about it.
As far as the demo is concerned, I liked the puzzle presented and the graphics, but there were a couple minor annoyances. For one thing, I didn't much like the translation, and thought some of the dialogue and descriptions were kinda cheezy and really didn't go with the atmosphere of the game. So, I was wondering if the final version also sports the same weakness. Another thing that struck me as odd was that there was no voice acting at all. Wondering if that is also the case for the full version, or if they just cut some of the sounds to make the demo smaller.
Finally, quite annoying I found the bug (or feature?) that if I examined something, I couldn't click on it again unless I went out to another location and then came back.
Other than that, I thought the demo was pretty nice. But I was wondering if the same things were true for the final game, for those little things kinda add up to a not-so-enjoyable experience.
