Chat 8 underway
Even if it's just me, Kloreep and NM We're in #civ3dem on Undernet right now, come join us!
So far the only excitement has been the Persian horse that's been driven up onto Mt. Kloreep Also we're a turn away from our first galley and 2 from Polytheism with a new city, Fields of Gold (can be renamed if you guys just -hate- that one )

-NEWSFLASH- The VP is dead!
Kloreep, an aging warrior and also VP of the Apolyton nation, died defending his Archer sons from a damaged but vicious Persian horseman. His death has been avenged on the slopes of Mt. Kloreep by his sons
Kloreep's ghost vows to work through the difficulties of ethereality and finish his term.

I think mostly yes, but in this case it would have been a better place.

I think it would help a lot to summarize what happened during the chats and moves, since so many people cant be at the chats. I was surprised by the galley (tho I agreed with it), the placement of Fields of....Corn/Gold/Hops, the latest persian attack and its outcome.

I think the real choice is between Monarchy in 40 turns and science competely off. (Depends upon how many civs we are now in contact with)
Most AIs are likely to go to Literature before Monarchy, but after Literature is discovered, most AIs will proceed to Monarchy (assuming that they have all prereqs to Monarchy.)

Monarchy - on deity you have a better chance of researching it first and being able tho whore it around to all teh AI civs.

Considering we have one in despotism, probably not.
