Hmm...Just ran into the part where you can't get past if you have a...less than legal version
No matter though. I don't know why everyone raves about Deus Ex...It really didn't impress me.

System Shock 2, however.... |

You should really give the story chance to kick in before you say that. Maybe the problem is with the 'version' you have. |

Is it possible with any FPS to modify the game so that you can put the picture of those you dont like on the faces of the enemies in the game that you shoot?

Well you can download different models. But you wont really find your worst enemy available for download unless he is a universally hated figure. |

Get Call of Duty if you're into WW2 shooters.

Damn. I wanted to pull some pics out of the picture thread in Apolyton/Community and place the head in the picture on the shoulders of enemy soldiers or monsters or whatever... |

Deus Ex is excellent for single player, it has some great tactical shootem up action, with pretty good AI , also lots of RPG and Stealth action which i like as I'm not into simple shooting games. Its one of the only games with multiple strategies for each mission..Deus Ex 2 should be great, with even more things and a adanced graphics/interface engine.
The nice physics engine makes it good in itself (has anyone managed to Kill Gunther the first time you meet at the subway station)

For Multiplayer Counterstrike or Wolfenstein :enemy territory are good right now.. I thought quake 3 wasn't so good for multiplayer but its got a good engine. Quake 2 is still great for MP, especially that Capture The Flag mod.
Look out for Doom3 if you want style over content.

Elite force 2 may be good, the first one seemed good, its for Startrek fans, but its not as strategy based as Deus Ex.

Half Life 2 looks great , but I hope its not all about scientists in white coats.. the first game got a bit repetitive I thought, though it was original and atmospheric.

No, you guys are ALL wrong .
No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way is the FPS you should get. Great story and fun game. It's 'prequal' Contract J.A.C.K. comes out in a few weeks.

			Great choice, Imran.
Speaking of... they just released a multiplayer demo for J.A.C.K....

Feel like taking on a fire-breathing liberal Red Wings fan, my friend?

But of course... hopefully we can get some more Poly guys in a m-player matchup (if we can all get online at the same time ).
