Best looking wonder
After all the games of CIV I've played I just saw the Great Wall wonder for the first time - the city view screen. That's the way they should have made city walls look!!!! Which, BTW, the city wall graqphic sucks I think. The city view in CIV I was better IMHO.

Does anyone still look at the city view screen?
I wouldn't mind being able to choose who the Colossus was modelled after......

She's nice, but I wouldn't call her a wonder of the world.

MWHC,
Could you possibly post a screenshot, please?? In my game it is just a tiny semi-curve in the upper left corner of the city view screen. Civ2, v242. Thanks

Never mind.
Moving the cursor over the area moves the "view" westward. I did not know that. And yes the GW looks pretty neat; or so my typist tells me.

OK. Don't laugh.
I still jump when I hear the 'nuke' noise that is played when I build the Manhattan Project.
I only build it in the late endgame for the points. But I guess I remember getting nuked repeatedly in my earlier, less skilled civ life - consequently the noise always startles me
It's not the best looking wonder, but this thread did bring Manhattan to mind.

The Davros project - man your walls with Daleks. 2x multiplier to defence against forces that can't climb stairs.
And I didn't even do an obligatory exterminate joke.

I agree, Julius. It really stands out. So white and bright, must be all the clean energy it is churning out.
The Temple is one of my favorites, of course.

Is the Temple the one that looks like Madonna lying on her back?
