The Desktop Thread
It's that time again.
So let's see them.
And yeah, I know it's not the most original background, but damnit I love it.

I expected to see more non-english peeps to work with English versions of windows/apple.
I find it confusing to switch from dutch into English and back myself.

The only minor problem I've had is when reading some instructions in english about configurations and such. They use the english terms such as "configuration panel" etc and I have in my mind the Greek term. But most of the time this isn't a problem, you can guess what they're talking about.

I am used to my French speaking system, to the point I have trouble when I must perform some tasks on a German-speaking or English-speaking windows.
Heck, even when I installed my Linux, I chose the French version. Reading help files is easier in your native language.

Hey now I have that fancy dock thingamajig now, too. Works as a great replacement for my old solution of a double-height taskbar with one line dedicated to QuickLaunch icons.

Hi! I've got Win98. I haven't got Plus!, but I've got a small application that is just like desktop themes. Can I change the way my folder icons look? I mean regular directories.

How can you people stand the XP Luna theme? Windows Classic is so much better.

The Luna theme is ugly, yes... but nothing is more ugly than the classic one...
